Dato’ Hj. Azman is a distinguished leader in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Spanco Sdn Bhd. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Indiana University, USA, which provided a solid foundation for his subsequent career achievements.

Joining Spanco Sdn Bhd in 2012, Dato’ Hj. Azman brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success. His career includes significant leadership roles in several prominent organisations. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at DRB Hicom Auto Solutions Sdn Bhd from 2006 to 2008, followed by his tenure as President and COO at Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd from 2008 to 2009. He then held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON) from 2009 to 2012.

Dato’ Hj. Azman’s strategic vision and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in driving the growth and success of the companies. His extensive experience in the automotive sector and his leadership acumen make him a pivotal figure at Spanco, guiding the company towards continued success and industry leadership.

Wai Thong, an esteemed professional in finance and accounting, holds the pivotal position of Group Financial Controller at Spanco Sdn Bhd. Graduating with a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) qualification from TAR College, his career spans over four decades of exemplary service.

Having served Spanco for more than 25 years, the journey is marked by notable achievements and significant contributions to the company’s financial success. Prior to the current role, he held key positions at renowned organisations such as O’Connors Trading & Engineering, Pepsi Cola Inc, and British American Tobacco.

Dedication to excellence and extensive experience in corporate affairs make him an invaluable asset to Spanco. Professional affiliations with FCCA further attest to his commitment to industry standards and best practices.

Mohamed Shaheeran is synonymous with excellence and innovation in his role as Chief Operating Officer at Spanco Sdn Bhd. Equipped with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Abertay Dundee, his professional journey exemplifies a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Since joining Spanco in 2013, his trajectory has been impressive. From inception managing client services to overseeing the entirety of operations, his tenure has been marked by a series of accomplishments. His strategic foresight and leadership acumen have been pivotal in the growth and success of the company.

Prior to his tenure at Spanco, he held key positions at Edaran Otomobil Nasional (EON Berhad) and Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd, where he honed his skills in marketing and customer relationship management.

His contributions extend beyond the boardroom, with involvement in various professional affiliations reflecting his commitment to industry advancement. His dedication to excellence continues to propel Spanco success to greater heights.

Peter Lim, an exemplary leader in the corporate arena, currently serves as the Executive Director of Spanco Sdn Bhd & Spanco Services Sdn Bhd. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Mr. Lim brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role.

Joining Spanco Sdn Bhd in 1993 as a Manager, he has been instrumental in shaping the companies’ growth and success. Prior to his tenure at Spanco, he was at Marco Corporation, where he honed his skills in credit control management.

Throughout his career, leadership and strategic acumen have been recognized by peers and industry experts. His steadfast commitment to excellence has propelled him to the forefront of the business world.

As Executive Director, he continues to drive innovation, foster growth, and solidify Spanco’s position as a leader in the industry.

Finance

Wee Sun is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in accounting and business administration. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Edith Cowan University, Australia, graduating in 1992, and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) in Australia.

Since joining Spanco Sdn Bhd in 2014 as the Deputy Group Financial Controller, Wee Sun has played a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. Prior to his current role, he served as the General Manager of Internal Audit at Adlen Resources Sdn Bhd from 2004 to 2014, where he gained extensive experience in financial auditing and internal controls.

Wee Sun’s expertise is strengthened by his professional affiliations as a member of CPA Australia and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. His dedication to excellence and strategic financial management continues to contribute significantly to the success and growth of Spanco.

Operations

Zulkifli is a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in accountancy and extensive experience in operations management. He earned his Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours Degree) from Universiti Teknologi MARA Shah Alam in 1998.

Zulkifli has been with Spanco Sdn Bhd since 15 August 2000, where he currently serves as the Head of Operations. His career at Spanco has seen him progress through various roles, starting in the Finance Department, moving through the Customer Service Department, and the Fleet & Supply Department, demonstrating his versatile expertise and commitment to the company.

Before joining Spanco, Zulkifli was the Head of Accounts and Admin Department at Transfleet Holdings Sdn Bhd from May 1991 to August 2000. He began his professional journey as an Account Assistant at British American Life and General Insurance Berhad from February 1990 to April 1991.

His notable past career achievements include his contribution towards the formation of Gajah Navigation Sdn Bhd, which became the first heavy lift Malaysian-flagged vessel, named Gajah Borneo. Zulkifli was a qualified member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), highlighting his dedication to professional excellence and industry standards.

Zulkifli’s extensive experience, strategic leadership, and proven track record of success make him a key asset to Spanco, driving the company’s operational excellence and growth.

Corporate Affairs

Dato’ Mohd Suhaimi holds a Degree in Business Administration from Lyceum of the Philippines, graduating in 1996. With 27 years of dedicated service at SPANCO Sdn. Bhd., he has risen through the ranks from a Procurement Account Executive to his current position as Director.

Throughout his tenure, Dato’ Suhaimi has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision, having held roles such as Assistant Manager, Manager, and Director of Corporate Affairs. His journey at Spanco reflects his commitment to excellence and his significant contributions to the company’s growth and success. 

His steadfast dedication to the company has made him a vital part of Spanco’s leadership, ensuring its continued progress and innovation.

After Sales (RSC)

Shahrizal, an esteemed member of the automotive industry, currently serves as the Head of After Sales Support at Spanco Services Sdn Bhd. His journey to this leadership position has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a dedication to advancing industry standards.

Graduating with an MBA from UNITAR International University, his career path led him through various notable positions, including Senior Engineer at EP Polymers Sdn Bhd and Senior Executive at Amsteel Mills Sdn Bhd. However, it was during his tenure at Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd where he truly made his mark, ascending to roles such as Head of After Sales Planning and Head of COO Office.

His achievements have garnered him recognition both within and outside the automotive industry. He is a certified Professional Technologist in Automotive Technology and actively contributes to industry development through his involvement in various committees and associations.

As Head of After Sales Support, he continues to exemplify leadership and innovation, driving Spanco Services towards success in customer satisfaction and service excellence.

After Sales (ASC)

Ronnie serves as the Head of After Sales Support (ASC) at Spanco Services Sdn Bhd, leveraging his extensive experience in the automotive industry. With a diploma in Aviation, he has been instrumental in optimising after-sales service operations, having held notable roles such as Assistant General Manager and Regional Operations Manager at leading Japanese automotive service companies, known for its commitment to precision and customer satisfaction.

His strategic leadership and commitment to excellence have earned him recognition in the industry, dedicating himself to enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth through efficient after-sales support.

Human Resources & Administration

Zulfika brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role of Head of Human Resources & Administration at Spanco Sdn Bhd. Graduating with a degree in Public Administration from Heidelberg University, Ohio, USA, in 1994, his academic background underscores his commitment to excellence.

With a career spanning more than two decades, he has held key positions in prominent organisations such as Daewoo Corporation, Koperasi Wawasan Malaysia Berhad, Koperasi Perdanajaya (M) Berhad, and Cosmopoint Sdn Bhd. His leadership in HR management has been recognized with notable achievements and certifications, including his designation as a certified leadership coach.

His strategic vision and dedication to fostering a positive work environment make him an invaluable asset to Spanco, driving the company’s success through effective human capital management.

Insurance

Meng Yeow, the Senior Manager at Fleet Insurance Agency Sdn Bhd, brings a wealth of experience in finance and insurance. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Nelson Polytechnic, New Zealand, graduating in 1996, which provided him with a solid foundation for his career in accounting and financial management.

Since joining Fleet Insurance Agency Sdn Bhd in 2008, Meng Yeow has been instrumental in driving the company’s success through his expertise in financial management and strategic planning. Prior to his current role, he served as an Accountant at Spanco Sdn Bhd from 2000 to 2008, where he honed his skills in financial oversight and accounting practices. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Accounts Executive at Brady’s Sdn Bhd from 1996 to 1999, gaining valuable experience in the field.

His professional affiliations include membership in the Malaysia Institute of Insurance (MII) and the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA), demonstrating his ongoing commitment to the industry and professional development. Meng Yeow’s leadership and financial acumen have been pivotal in driving the success of Fleet Insurance Agency Sdn Bhd.

Management Information System (MIS)

Peck Ong is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in managing information technology operations. He holds a Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), graduating in 1984.

Peck Ong has been with Overall Fleet Management Sdn Bhd for the past 9 years, where he serves as the Senior IT Manager. His expertise in IT management and strategic implementation has been instrumental in the company’s technological advancements and operational efficiency.

Before joining Overall Fleet Management Sdn Bhd, Peck Ong held several significant positions in other esteemed organisations. He served as Senior IT Manager at Ogawa Berhad for 2 years, followed by a 6-year tenure as Senior IT Manager at EIG Berhad. Prior to these roles, he was the IT Manager at FJ Benjamin Sdn Bhd for 6 years, where he honed his skills in IT infrastructure and project management.

Peck Ong’s extensive background and dedication to IT excellence have been pivotal in driving technological growth and innovation within Overall Fleet Management Sdn Bhd, making him a vital asset to the company.
